Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Alan Alda, born in 1936. He's probably best known for his role in MASH although that was apparently not his own personal favorite role. A few days ago somebody's diary (I forget whose) had a picture of some rich dude's personal home library (I forget whose). Anyhow, it made me look around my own library room and realize hey, it's full! And boxes of books stacked on the floor! And books in the living room, and books in the dining room, and books in all the bedrooms, and books in the third-storey closet, and I really don't wanna get rid of any of them! I need to add another library room to my house! Oh well, maybe I'll hafta neaten some things up and make some hard decisions about what I can donate to our church's next May Fest Grandiose Junk Sale. Oh, but there's still a five-foot-long section of living-room wall that doesn't have book shelves yet! Perhaps a jaunt over to Lowe's for a buncha nice #2 Knotty Pine could be arranged. Happy Monday!
