My more serious diary:
A Walk Through the
Valley of the Shadow

Today we celebrate the birthday of Franklin D. Roosevelt, born in 1882. He was our only president to serve more than two consecutive terms.

Nothing much happened yesterday. Nothing much is gonna happen today, I hope.

Pouring down rain, gonna clear up and get windy this afternoon, so says the Wondrous Weather Website.

And on the political scene, the pundits are claiming that McCain and Romney have both got lotsa economics expertise. I haven't seen any evidence of it.

But I'm just not a True Believer. You see, True Believers are supposed to have magical knowledge of what's true without seeing the evidence.

Happy True Believing!

Oh by the way, if you're one of those insufferable snooty folks who think
you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
