A Walk Through the

Today we celebrate the birthday of Babe Ruth, born in 1895. His legendary home run hitting fame remains undimmed by the fact that a coupla his records have been topped since then. Hey, I'm waiting to see if anybody's gonna invent some kinda candy bar named Rogey Maris or Hanky Aaron.

Last night's Grandiose Pancake Dinner was great. Kudos to the kitchen ladies who did the pancakes and sausage and the youth group who did the serving.

And I see by the Episcopal Church Canonical Altar Cover Calendar on the wall that we have no more green days in February. Only purple days except for Feb 25 which is red. I suppose that's probably in honor of some sorta martyrdom, but I'm too lazy right now to get up and check to see who was martyred.

And I see my comments file is flaking out again. It's been occasionally telling me there's a comment when there isn't, and no comment when there is one. Also I've received word that some folks have tried to leave comments but it didn't work. Oh well, keep trying. I've also got a guest book, and another guest book over on my Geocities site.

The Wondrous Weather Website is promising us a nice warm summer rain and lotsa nice wind. They've got small craft warnings out for the Chesapeake Bay and Patuxent River. There's a sailboat rental place across the street from me and I wanna watch and see how many of the customers try to sail their boats upside down.
