A Walk Through the
Valley of the Shadow

Today we celebrate the birthday of Johann Peter Gustav Lejeune Dirichlet, born in 1805. He was a mathematician who proved a buncha stuff that only a proof-freak could care about.

I had intended to present the Yuk-Yuk Of The Week Award to 90 Day Jane but I see that her blog appears to have vanished overnight. She had announced that the purpose of her blog was to document the last 90 days of her life and then kill herself.

So, how do I know she was a blatant fake? Well, she said that she was an atheist and therefore her life was meaningless. That's a sentiment I've never heard in the atheist community. It sounds more like a Devout Christian Delusion of what their fictional atheists are supposed to feel.

Had her blog stayed up, I was all set to predict that when the countdown rolls around to Day Zero she'll do an entry about how she had miraculously found JESUS and gotten herself SAVED!!!

Oh well, I guess I'll just hafta find somebody else to laugh at.
