Today we mourn the fateful day in 303 AD when Emperor Diocletian ordered the destruction of the Christian cathedral at Nicomedia as part of his campaign of persecution of primitive stone-age man-god cults including Christianity. This proved to be a major strategic boo-boo on his part, since by this time most of the Roman army was made up of Celtic, Slavic, Gallic, and Teutonic tribesmen who were mostly avid adherents of these primitive stone-age man-god cults. Of course, this cost him the loyalty of the army and was one of the many things that led to his downfall in 305 AD. Yesterday it sorta half-way rained all day. Today looks like it's gonna be a repeat of yesterday. It was very nice to have a nice dry garage for changing oil. I'm gonna re-read the books of Charles Fort. I read them once when I was a teenager, but it didn't quite soak in at the time that Charles Fort was a Grand Wazoo of Mystic Woo-Woo. I suppose I oughta be familiar with the woo-woo crowd that I get my jollies out of making fun of. Happy Woo-Woo! OrneryPest |

Oh by the way, if you're one of those insufferable snooty folks who think
you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
