Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of the Sunday of the Prodigal Son. The calendar indicates purple altar covers for today but I think we're giving up altar covers for Lent. They even got a pair of expensive polished oak candle holders for the altar so we could give up cheap brass candle holders. Gosh, gee, such burdensome sacrifices we make! Oh well, this afternoon the Wondrous Weather Website is predicting it'll warm up. That'll be nice. Yesterday I was helping somebody change his oil, and while the old oil is draining out it's customary to do a general check of all under-hood fluid levels. I checked the brake fluid and then I was looking for the hydraulic clutch fluid and suddenly recalled, hey this car has automatic transmission! I'm not likely to find any clutch fluid! Oh well, nobody has recently accused me of total sanity anyhow. Happy Sunday! OrneryPest |
