Today we celebrate the birthday of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, born in 1886. He was an architect.

And now, folks, when P.Z. Myers got expelled from Expelled but his guest Richard Dawkins didn't get expelled, did that help or hurt the cause of the idiots who made Expelled?

I don't think it either helped or hurt their cause. Idiots will continue to believe Expelled's contention that the "establishment" (whatever that is) is aligned against them, and intelligent people will continue to realize that Expelled is fulla baloney.

You see, everybody already knows that scientific journals won't accept submissions from writers who can't back up their contentions. So what's new?

And for anybody who just arrived on Earth from a distant galaxy, Expelled is a movie made by idiots complaining about how it's unfair for scientific journals to refuse to accept submissions from idiots who have no evidence to back up what they say.

Well anyhow, today it's gonna rain, so says the Wondrous Weather Website, so Gordon the Garden, newly planted with seed varieties developed with the use of the Theory of Evolution, will have a nice little drink.
