Today we celebrate the birthday of Raphael, born in 1483. Well, one of the choices for his birthday, anyhow. Margaret Downey's presentation yesterday was great. Unfortunately, she's trying to present the atheist point of view without needlessly offending religious people. That's impossible. Just mention that you think logic is probably valid and that rational thought often gets results, and you've got millions of religion spastics riled up. This morning it's raining, so I guess we're not wasting any garden-planting time by spending our obligatory hour trying to boss God around by reciting mystic incantations at our own belly buttons.
