Today we celebrate the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev, born in 1469. He was the founder of the Sikh religion.

And now, folks, Global Warming has brought us these mystic omens almost three weeks ahead of schedule:

The white lilac, in full sun, is merrily abloom.

The purple lilac, in a shady area, is not far behind.

And so it's off to The Greenery to buy some tomato plants.
