A Walk Through the
Valley of the Shadow

Today we commemorate a supernova in the constellation Lupus, observed by Chinese and Arab astronomers in 1006. Europeans didn't see it because it was the Dark Ages and there wasn't enough light for them.

Yesterday we got the graveyard mowed without any riding lawnmowers getting stuck between gravestones. Truly a miracle!

And the youth group did a great job on their Mystic Meditation Maze, getting the stones down just far enough so the lawnmower blades won't hit them.

Now if they could only prove that the Mystic Meditation Maze really has magic powers. Our church budget could make great use of James Randi's million bucks.

Today I gotta mow the lawn at St Peter's Chapel (dirty job), go to a dentist appointment (clean job), filter a barrel of compost (dirty job), and go to chorus rehearsal in the evening (clean job). Looks like I'll be changing clothes a lot.
