Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Our Fearless President, born in 1961, supposedly in Hawaii according to all reliable evidence. I haven't read today's Washington Post yet, but I suppose it'll probably have some nice stories about how he's planning to celebrate.

All is peaceful on the home front. Only one cat left, and he's getting a bit old and weak for all-night trampoline training on our bed.

Today I have nothing planned. Well, perhaps pay the electric bill that came yesterday, but so what, everybody gets electric bills and most of us usually pay them on time, so whoopee ding.
