Today we celebrate the birthday of Ladislaus Josephowitsch Bortkiewicz, born in 1868. He was a mathematician.

And now, folks, I've decided to join in Poolagirl's cool and neat and groovy new high-fashion trend.

Zorb the Sacred Crocodile is eager to join me.

Bruce tried on a nice stylish sardine tin but was not entirely satisfied with the fit, so he's still shopping around.

I'm sure we'll cut quite the figure as we stroll round and about our fair isle in our stylish new headwear.
