Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Fidel Castro, born in 1926. He overthrew Batista, a brutally repressive dictator so thoroughly evil he made Hitler look like a choir boy by comparison.

So Good Old USA, in our astutely bungling ineptitude, refused to offer Castro any support so he turned to the Soviet Union, from whom he received guidance as to how to become almost as repressive as Batista had been.

Would world history have turned out different if we had supported Castro? Who knows?

Well anyhow, we've got a new computer on order to replace this digital Alzheimer's Disease afflicted antique. The delivery-tracer is promising us it'll be here today. Then we gotta transfer all our files over.

Oh by the way, don't ever let a repair service change your hard drive designator from C to F and then put something different on C. It causes all sorts of amusing boggles.
