Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Bartholomeo Pitiscus, born in 1561. He was a mathematician who made major contributions in trigonometry. I discovered that Wikipedia has an entry about Middleham Chapel. YAY! We're famous! In yesterday's sermon the preacher made a bit of a suggestion that a few slight changes in our religion might happen. As expected, the congregation reacted as though he had announced that from this day henceforth we shall believe in Zorb the Sacred Crocodile instead of God. Q. How many Episcopalians does it take to change a light bulb? A. How dare you suggest that Episcopalians will ever change anything! Well anyhow, the edge storms from Hurricane Whatsizname are here. Thunder and lightning. Actually lightning and thunder, if you wanna get it in the canonically correct order. It's a very good day to stay indoors and ride the bike that doesn't go anywhere and pick up heavy things and put them down. Happy Monday! OrneryPest |

you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
