Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Johann Heinrich Lambert, born in 1728. He was a mathematician who studied the mathematical properties of light. This was quite a challenge in his day, when the various religious denominations were valiently trying to enshroud the world in darkness. Nothing happened yesterday. Today our church choir is gonna do a rehearsal, which marks the beginning of our Grandiose 325-Year Anniversary Celebration Weekend. And in a coupla more weeks or so I shall find out that I didn't win the Creation Myth contest, at which point I shall probably be free to publish my entry somewhere or t'nother on the Intermuck. Happy Wednesday! OrneryPest |

Oh by the way, if you're one of those insufferable snooty folks who think
you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
