Today we celebrate the birthday of James Joseph Sylvester, born in 1814. He was a mathematician who appears to have certain attitude difficulties that sorta interfered with his mathematical achievements.

Oh well, if you're rich I guess you can afford attitude difficulties.

Yesterday nothing happened. Well, choir rehearsal, in which we sang wondrous praises to our make-believe impossibly convoluted three-headed sky-zombie, but that went exactly as planned.

I'm eagerly awaiting September 6 when the place I submitted my creation myth to has promised they'll announce the winner. Then whether I win or lose I'll publish my creation myth somewhere and link to it from here so ya'all can read it and make fun of it.

Today nothing's gonna happen, I hope. Well, maybe some laundry needs done, but that's only because I live in a community where folks are expected to wear clothes.
