Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Beyonce Knowles, born in 1981. She's about as cute as anybody. I've been searching the media for scandals about her, but there don't seem to be any. Hey, a great looking woman who has achieved fame and fortune at a young age without indulging in scandalous behavior? Outrageous! We can't have that!

Yesterday nothing much happened. Well, I got the property tax paid, but that doesn't count. It just proves that I'm still fortunate enough to have a property tax to pay, unlike many Loyal Americans in today's economy.

And I hear that our president wants to make a speech to children about how education is important, and some parents in backwoods hillbilly parts of the country are outraged at such an outrageous idea. Education is a Marxist plot, they claim.

It looks like today is gonna be a great day to kick off the Labor Day Weekend. I see that the local law enforcement folks are busy setting up Sobriety Checkpoints here in Solomons Maryland, Drunk Driving Capital Of The World. I'm sure they'll pick up lotsa paying customers.
