Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Eustathios. He achieved sainthood by hallucinating a mystic image of the Cross of Christ in a stag's antlers. I just got finished reading On The Nature Of Things by Lucretius. Very interesting. A world-view highly compatible with modern science, in first-century BC. Lacking the benefit of a few modern discoveries, obviously, but still far more advanced than Christian theology. Other than that, nothing much happened yesterday. Today is, of course, Sunday, the day we turn our philosophy-clocks back to the Stone Age and worship a crude and primitive Holy Trinity. Our choir does our mystic incantation at Middleham Chapel. Happy Sunday! OrneryPest |

Oh by the way, if you're one of those insufferable snooty folks who think
you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
