Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Jeremiah A Wright Jr, born in 1941. Everyone, I'm sure, remembers him as the preacher that stirred up some sorta incomprehensible big fuss during Obama's campaign.

And did ya'all hear what happened yesterday? Yes, folks, THE RAPTURE! Yes, folks, all True Believers are gone! The world is now safe. Yes, folks, if you're still on Earth you're not a Real Christian so just go stuff it!

Meanwhile I've finished Epictetus. An excellent read. I can see why Christians of his era weren't too upset with him. They weren't smart enough to understand what he was talking about. They just went ga-ga over the fact that his metaphysics included God, unlike most of the other classical philosophies of the era.

Today the Wondrous Weather Website is predicting a great bike-riding morning and a great indoor-activity afternoon. Time to get right into enjoying the whole day.
