Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Bruce Springsteen, born in 1949.

Yesterday was very nice and quiet. A nice bike ride in the morning and a bit of picking up heavy things and putting them down in the afternoon.

It's a good thing the Rapture happened day before yesterday. Unfortunately, there are now vast crowds of False Believers who fancy themselves to be True Believers who are upset that they weren't raptured, so they're trying to claim the Rapture hasn't really happened. Oh well, we know different, don't we!

And I see that the Chief Boss Archbigot of the Anglican church in Nigeria has been replaced by a new Archwizard who has started his new term of office by promising to be even worse.

Nigeria is approximately 1/3 Christian, 1/3 Muslim, and 1/3 more advanced tribal believers in objective reality. The Christians and the Muslims are competing with each other to try to stomp out all sane and rational people, and are stomping out each other in the process. I'm waiting for the day when Nigeria is transformed into an uninhabited ocean of blood.

Today promises to be a great day, as long as I can stay out of the way of religion-spastic nut-cases.
