Today we celebrate the birthday of Christopher Reeve, born in 1952. He was an actor best known for his role as Superman.

The Superman television series I remember was from before his time. I think they used different actors for Superman and Clark Kent, and you could almost see the wires that Superman rode on when he went soaring round and about the sky.

Yesterday nothing happened except for perhaps a 19.2 pound baby getting born to an Indonesian woman who probably didn't weigh a whole lot more than that herself.

Today it's gonna rain all day. Fortunately, about three new magazines came in yesterday's mail, so I'll intersperse magazine articles between jaunts on the indoor bike that doesn't go anywhere and picking up heavy things and putting them down.

Also I'm gonna duct-tape my choir song folder back together instead of asking for a new one. No point in needless waste. Our church budget is excessively high anyhow. Of course, it would be nice if we could do some sorta mystic incantation to cause God to send an angelic truck driver down from Heaven with a load of new choir song folders, but we can't seem to get that to work.
