Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Alexander Lucius Twilight, born in 1795. I've never heard of him before, but he popped up on my Random Celebrity Selector, and hey, he sounds as worthy as anybody! And then there's this far-out cult that wants to ban computers because Alan Turing, one of the foremost leaders in the development of computers, was gay. While we're at it, let's also ban all electric gadgets because Benjamin Franklin, one of the early investigators in electricity, was a Deist, which is not quite an atheist but it's close enough to get religion spastics riled up. But anyhow, it sorta halfway rained most of the day yesterday. Today promises to be sorta halfway more of the same. This afternoon we're gonna do a funeral for somebody that I never knew all that well, but folks who knew her really liked her a lot, so they'd like to have the choir sing for the funeral. That'll be kinda nice, I think. Happy Saturday! OrneryPest |

Oh by the way, if you're one of those insufferable snooty folks who think
you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
