Today we celebrate the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, born in 1869. He dedicated his career to opposing British oppression of India, and then opposing the mutual hatred that somehow developed between Hindus and Muslims. He has become a sort of mystic hero for opposition of oppression of all kinds.

And now, folks, here's another round in the fuss over whether September 30 oughta continue to be Blasphemy Day. Enjoy.

Personally I'm in favor of blasphemy because it's so much fun, but I can see how it causes wimpy crybabies to become emotionally disturbed and is unlikely to ever convert them to a sane and rational point of view.

What's everybody's favorite browser? My favorite is Opera, but recently I've heard several folks present the opinion that Firefox is the best. Microsoggy Intermuck Exploder and Netscrape Navelgazer appear to be running a race to see which one can be the worst.

My only fuss with Opera is that it won't work on Facebook. Or actually, my fuss with Facebook is that Opera won't work on it. But anyhow, that's why I don't have a Facebook site.

Well anyhow, nothing's gonna happen today. Maybe I'll go out and check to see if Gordon the Garden has given us any carrots this year.
