Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint Philip the Deacon. We'll use green altar covers.

Our choir sings at Middleham Chapel today, and I'm not going. It seems prudent to keep my sick little bod in bed for the day. Besides, today's choir song is one of those numbers by John Rutter and it doesn't have a Bass part, so nobody will miss me anyhow.

I think the Patuxent River Appreciation Day Parade is gonna be today. It comes right past my house so I don't hafta go anywhere. It looks like it'll be great weather for it.
