Today we celebrate the birthday of Ernests Fogels, born in 1910. He was a mathematician. I'm not sure why he spelled both his first and last names in the plural. Maybe that's the mathematical way to prove you're cool.

Yesterday was the Annual Patuxent River Appreciation Day Parade. A pretty nice parade this year. I took a buncha pictures with my new cellaphone camera, but the light was sorta odd (bright sun with my vantage point angled sorta halfway towards the sun) and that particular camera doesn't seem to handle that kinda lighting very well, so the pictures didn't come out good enough to be worth posting here.

But anyhow, at least I got lotsa good drill in the procedure for cellaphoning pix to my e-mail.

Now, folks, a new diarist oughta be welcomed into our little clique. Check out Girl On The Brink. But be nice, now! Her comment thingie appears to be catching flak from lotsa soreheads who aren't as smart as she is.

I'm still feeling sorta half-rotten, but I'm more or less up and about as long as I don't try to overstress it. The Wondrous Weather Website is promising us a great one.
