Today we wish a fond Happy Birthday to Paul Simon, born in 1941. He's half of the Simon And Garfunkel group, as if everybody didn't already know that.

Well, I think I'm beginning to recover a bit but I still better take it easy. No marathons nor hundred-mile bike rides today, even though the Wondrous Weather Website is predicting a great day for such relaxing activities.

Somewhere or t'nother I think I saw a video about encouraging folks to take the stairs instead of the elevator by painting the stairs to look like a piano keyboard. Of course, the video had to have piano music along with it. I'm not sure if the stairway actually did the music, however.

I can't imagine the horrible discordance from millions of people going up and down it all day, though. Imagine fifteen or twenty cats frolicking on a piano keyboard!
