Today we celebrate the birthday of Evel Knievel, born in 1938. Just look at all the wonderful daredevil stuff he did, and then ended up dying of something utterly unrelated to his lifestyle! What a waste!

It rained all day yesterday. What a drag! We dined out at the CD Cafe because it's only three doors down from our place so it wasn't a problem walking in the rain. In fact, total walking distance woulda been about the same if we'd of driven.

It's still raining. It's gonna rain all day. It's gonna rain all night. It's gonna rain all day tomorrow. It's gonna rain all night tomorrow night. It's gonna rain for forty days and forty nights. I haven't started my ark yet.

I read The Doomsday Key by James Rollins. Another book about some ancient mystic secret that the hero needs to find but some shadowy secret society is trying to stop him.

So today I guess I gotta find another book to read as I prepare to float down the river and into the bay from all this rain.
