Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Marie Antoinette, born in 1755. She was the frivolous twit-bird queen of the demented nincompoop king Louis XVI of France. It's no surprise that the French Revolution made short work of these two useless idiots. Yesterday morning was boring. After an hour and a half of singing a buncha meaningless jibberish all on E-Flat you start getting a bit sleepy. But the afternoon picked up. We had a presentation about the contributions of black people to the history of Calvert County Maryland, and about how the county's geography (a hundred miles long and a hundred yards wide) contributed in turn to the value of their contributions. And today nothing's gonna happen, except for possibly a bit of rain along about noon or thereabouts. Maybe I can do a bit of getting Gordon the Garden taken down for the year and preparing it for next year. Happy Monday! OrneryPest |

Oh by the way, if you're one of those insufferable snooty folks who think
you've just gotta have a (gasp) banner (shudder) to link to me,
I suppose I'll let you download this one for the purpose, if you really insist.
