Today we are rendered speechless at the total savagery of this set of instructions about how to stone somebody to death. The captions are in some language I don't speak (presumably Arabic) but you can still get the idea. Well anyhow, if we're finished recovering from our gastric upheaval at the porcelain altar, maybe we can get on with this entry. Yesterday I heard two rumors about new restaurants in our community. The first one's about the Lighthouse Inn Restaurant, which burned down several years ago. One of the popular restaurants over in St Marys County has supposedly bought the property and is planning to rebuild the place. The second one's about Catamarans, whose entertainment format had made them popular with hoodlum gangs and they had failed to do anything to change their image, so they got their liquor license pulled, and then they went bankrupt. Somebody has supposedly bought it and is renovating it and is gonna rename it The Striped Rock. One of my Facebook Friends who is in our fair isle's High Society In Crowd claims the second rumor is definitely true and thinks the first one might also be true. Anyhow, today looks like it's gonna be a great day. Maybe I'll stroll down onto the island and see if I can see any constructionary activity at either of those two sites. Happy Strolling!
