Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we make fun of North Carolina for trying to claim that the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of freedom of religion does not apply to states. I'd like to see a legislator try to introduce a bill declaring belief in Zorb the Sacred Crocodile as North Carolina's official state religion. Yesterday our church's volunteer lawn mowing group (we call ourselves the Holy Clippers) got all the lawn mowers serviced for the year. Even the manual mower got its oil changed. 80-W-90 gear oil, total capacity two drops. Then we mowed a few patches that had especially heavy growth of prairie garlic. And so today it looks like nothing's gonna happen. I'll buzz over and mow the St Peters Chapel lawn, which actually has a small amount of grass beginning to grow along with the prairie garlic. Happy Thursday! OrneryPest |
