Today we make fun of some extreme fringe religion spastic (never you mind which religion, they're all just as bad) who not only promotes rape culture but actively participates.

Here's what Rape Culture is. We warn women that if they dress a certain way or go certain places alone they're likely to get raped. Well, maybe okay. But the unintended consequence is that when men hear this they think, okay, if women dress this way or go to these places alone they're just asking to get raped so it's okay to rape them.

So women don't have the same right that men do to dress as they please, or to go stargazing at night. And that's Rape Culture.

And now just for a coupla "colored" observations.

In modern English, Blue is often used to indicate sadness. In ancient Sanskrit, Blue indicated enlightenment. The ancient Sanskrit cognate of the title Christ literally meant The Blue One, meaning The Enlightened One.

In modern English, Black is often used to indicate evil. In ancient Slavic, Black indicated purity. The ancient Slavic cognate of the title Christ literally meant The Black One, meaning The Pure One.

And oh by the way, linguists have observed that the title Christ has cognate forms in all known ancient Indo-European languages but not in any known Semitic language, giving us a huge clue as to whose mythology our religion actually came from.

Anyhow, it rained and thunderstormed something awful fierce yesterday afternoon, but as far as I can tell we didn't incur any serious property damage. I haven't been out yet to see how much more free giveaway firewood got contributed.
