Today we celebrate the birthday of Valentinian III, born in 419 AD. He was a tin-pot tyrant (facetiously styled "emperor") of one of the tattered fragments of what had once been the Roman Empire.

Yesterday it rained an awful lot. A buncha wind along with the rain contributed more free giveaway firewood.

Today the Wondrous Weather Website is promising us more rain and wind. It looks like there might be a small lull about mid-morning for a trip to the dump.
