Today we make fun of Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield Illinois. He's gonna exorcise the sin of same-sex marriage.

Yesterday church was the usual crashing bore. Father D preached the sermon in 12 minutes and 47 seconds. I never quite succeeded in hallucinating our much-celebrated three-headed sky-zombie.

And oh by the way, Father D is openly gay and has recently entered a same-sex marriage. People that want him exorcised have bolted the church and we'll do just fine without them.

And I was just wondering if there's anybody in my neighborhood who could use some Crape Myrtle wood for carving artistical stuff. I've got some destined for the giveaway firewood pile and it might as well be used for wood-carving.

One of my neighbors runs an art gallery. Maybe she's got some compadrionies who might want some.

It looks like today nothing's gonna happen. Last night's rain is mostly over, and it probably won't turn way cold until late evening.
