Today we celebrate the birthday of Pope Julius II, born in 1443. Documentational proof of this birth date is a bit uncertain, but hey, it's good enough for celebrational purposes!

Some sources report rumors that he may of been gay and that Michelangelo may of been one of his gay lovers, but it appears likely that these rumors were probably hogwash.

Last night's church pot luck dinner was nine people including both preachers. The presento afterwards was a moderated discussion about how to keep a cool tool during the frantic rush-rush Christmas season. I suggested that the first things to avoid are church activities. That was, naturally, roundly disapproved of.

Well anyhow, today looks like it's gonna be nice and warm and then start raining along about towards the end of the afternoon.
