Today we celebrate the birthday of Severo Bonini, born in 1582. He was a music composer.

Yesterday church was the usual crashing bore. End of Advent. All four Advent candles lit.

And then in the afternoon it rained a whole bunch. I'm Dreaming of a Soggy Christmas!

Tomorrow afternoon just before the Christmas Eve festivities, the wreaths that for some strange reason I've been given temporary custody of are supposed to go onto the chapel front door. The church ladies have given me permission to put them up a day early.

Good! Get the stupid things out of my way a day early!

I hope I can figure out which way up is canonically valid. Last year I got them on upside down and the church ladies became emotionally disturbed. And woe be unto anybody who faces the wrath of a mob of emotionally disturbed church ladies!

It's gonna rain all day today. I hope the church ladies don't mind wet wreaths.
