Today we celebrate the birthday of Efrem Zimbalist Sr, born in 1889 or 1890. Hey, how can we be certain of the day when we're not so sure of the year? Anyhow, he was a violinist. He was married to another famous musician, Alma Gluck, who's famous in crossweird puzzles.

Yesterday the highway deptment did a whole buncha cleaning out our roadside, possibly preparing for a buncha other work I don't know about yet. Somehow it doesn't look like preparation for putting electric service underground or putting in sidewalks.

Today looks like it might be a great day for perhaps planting a plot of spinach or radishes or something. Or maybe not.

And the siding contractor might come to fix my house siding. Or maybe not.
