Today we celebrate the birthday of Oskar Schindler, born in 1908. He was the industrialist who was the subject of the movie Schindler's List.

Yesterday church was the usual crashing bore. Father B preached the sermon in 13 minutes and 53 seconds.

Then I got the first coat of varnish onto the shelves the church ladies want.

Then I watched the antics of the Freaky Bar crowd, including one poor feller who was so drunk he couldn't figure out how to get his car into a forward gear so he had to drive home backwards. I wondered how he fared when he got to the sobriety checkpoint the sheriff's deptment was hosting.

Today the Wondrous Weather Website is predicting rain along towards the end of the afternoon.
