Today we celebrate the birthday of Tammy Wynette, born in 1942. She was a Singer of Twangy Songs.

Yesterday church was a longer-than-usual crashing bore. Father B preached his final sermon in 13 minutes and 4 seconds.

Then at announcement time, lotsa congregation members had to stand up and deliver grandiose eulogies as though he had died or something instead of just getting retired.

So anyhow, today's the day I've gotta take the new shelves over to the chapel and then get a chair out of the chapel and take it to the parish hall and then haul a buncha antiques and junque from the church ladies for the Grandiose May Fest Grandiose Antiques And Junk Sale which is gonna be this coming Saturday.

So I suppose that'll pretty much blow off the day.

Happy Monday!
