Today we celebrate the existence of the element Strontium, atomic number 38. That's because MrsPest and I have now been married for 38 years.

Yesterday's quest was a success. Outermost (visible to the general public) portions of lawn have been mowed. Screen door measurements have been determined and materials have been acquired.

I happened to notice that Dyson's Lumber carries 1/8-inch mesh rat-wire in 48" width. Maybe I should oughta of used it instead of ordinary screen for my front porch. It's awful expensive, though.

Today's quest will be to start making the screen door, which shouldn't oughta be too hard. I've made screen doors before, and they're holding up very well.

And if it quits raining I might even get a chance to mow the lawn at St Peters Chapel.

And then we'll dine out to celebrate our Strontium anniversary.
