Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate a feast day in honor of Saint William of York. I think he's often regarded as the Patron Saint of the city of York in England, but the article about him doesn't explicitly say that. We also celebrate Pentecost, the day that all True Christians are supposed to dress in red and roll around in the aisle and jabber jibberish and fondle rattlesnakes. We Episcopalians are too wimpy for most of that sorta display of ardent piety. A few folks will probably wear red clothes, but we probably won't be doing much of that other stuff. Yesterday was a totally boring success. I got lotsa paint scraped. There's lots more paint to be scraped. And then the Wondrous Weather Website is gnosticating that I probably won't get much painting done for most of this week. Oh well, if the porch doesn't get painted it'll still be there to paint after it quits raining. Happy Rolling In The Aisles! OrneryPest |
