Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we observe that the European Court of Human Rights has upheld France's law that says women aren't allowed to wear garbage bags instead of real clothes. BOO!! I think anybody oughta have the right to wear anything they please no matter how idiotic it makes them look. Now, I can see certain restrictions. For instance, here in Maryland it's a legal requirement to have your whole face showing when you enter a bank or a credit union, and when you get your drivers license picture taken, and when a cop stops you for a traffic violation. That, I suppose, is probably reasonable. When I was a itty-bitty tyke, we kids in the neighborhood would sometimes go around wearing huge cardboard boxes with holes cut out so we could see out. We're sure glad that wasn't illegal! Anyhow, nothing happened yesterday. The underground tron installers got two houses farther with their ditch. They're now only one house short of C Street. It looks like it's gonna rain an awful lot today. Maybe a water repellent burqua would be a nice thing to wear. Happy Burqua Wearing! OrneryPest |
