Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Nat Turner, born in 1800. He was the leader of a slave rebellion, one of several that resulted in a few short-term setbacks but ultimate victory for abolition of slavery. Yesterday's chiroquackquack knee-jerk resulted in absolutely nothing whatsoever, as usual. Today I've got another chiroquackquack knee-jerk apptment, of which I, again, expect nothing. And then the church pot luck dinner was only seven people. The presento was a movie about something called "mindfulness" which reminded me of some of the jibberish that Deepak Chopra spews forth. And so today after I get back from the chiroquackquack knee-jerk, I'll continue ripping off the stupid unnecessary eave gutters off of my garage. Most of the work so far has been moving stuff around and cutting tree branches to make room for ladder placement. And yes, my wobbly knee makes ladder work a bit more difficult than it used to be, but I can still manage okay if I'm real careful. I haven't fallen off yet. Happy Falling Off Ladders! OrneryPest |
