Today we celebrate the birthday of George Bancroft, born in 1800. He was an American historian. He served a term as Secretary of the Navy, during which he established the U.S. Naval Academy.

Yesterday's chiroquacker knee-jerk again accomplished nothing. The chiroquacker promises next week he's gonna start doing some sorta knee-jerk that'll cure me. So I'm wondering, if that's what'll work, why hasn't he been doing that all along.

Then I blew off the rest of the day clearing out the overgrown shrubbery away from the north side of my garage so I can get the ladder up to take off the useless eave gutter. The shrubbery was mostly branches of the neighbor's fig bush with vast quantities of trumpet-vines tangled up amongst it.

So today comes the easy part: actually taking off the eave gutter.

It looks like nothing else is likely to happen unless the tron undergrounders do something exciting like maybe snag another gas line.
