Oh by the way, folks, My more serious diary: |
Today we celebrate the birthday of Niels Bohr, born in 1885. He was a Nobel Prize winning physicist. Yesterday the chiroquacker did me a new and fun sorta knee-jerk. It didn't cure me. But they said it would require a whole buncha more sessions. And then I did a few errands nobody cares about, one of which took me to the head orifice of the company that does my annual heat pump servicing, which is just a bit north of the piece of highway that our secular humanist group is doing our Adopt-A-Highway thing on. So on the way home I decided to go a bit farther south just to see how the new paving project is going (the paving project that necessitated cancellation of our last Adopt-A-Highway escapade). They're still merrily a-pavin' away. And the tron undergrounders haven't gotten to in front of my place yet. Where they're working now looks like they'll probably be there a coupla more weeks or so. Or longer than that if they snag any more gas lines. Happy Tuesday! OrneryPest |
