Today we celebrate the birthday of Vespasian, born in 9 AD. He served a term of office as Roman Emperor.

Yesterday at church Father D, aware that our hopelessly boring church services were putting everybody including God to sleep, tried to liven things up by deliberately making lotsa mistakes.

For instance, at the St Peters Chapel service he welcomed everybody to Middleham Chapel instead of St Peters Chapel.

And then when the bulletin said we sing the opening hymn verses 1-4, when we got done with verse 4 and the organist stopped playing he said hey, we've got 3 more verses to sing.

And he kept on with that kinda stuff throughout the whole service, getting corrected at every point by the chalister and the organist and the acolytes.

Well, I'm not sure it woke God up, but the universe appears to be continuing to exist.

And so today it's gonna rain all day. I'm not sure how much tron undergrounding the tron undergrounders are gonna be able to do. Maybe none. Maybe that's why they worked Saturday, knowing they wouldn't be able to work today.

Happy Rain Dancing!
