Today we celebrate the birthday of Edwin Hubble, born in 1889. He was an astronomer who discovered lotsa cool and neat and groovy astronomical stuff and then got honored by getting lotsa stuff named for him.

Yesterday nothing happened. The tron undergrounders were working across the street from my place and along the side streets both north and south of my place, but haven't started actual work on my block yet except for parking lotsa vehicles there.

And lotsa activity is happening at the Dominion Gas site, but I haven't seen any rent-a-hippies there lately. Maybe whoever's hiring them ran out of money.

This morning I've got another chiroquacker knee-jerk, and this afternoon the dishwasher store is promising delivery. I'm not sure exactly what sorta schedule the tron undergrounders have planned, but if they've got our driveway blocked we'll find some sorta subterfuge to help the dishwasher deliverer get the thing to the house.

Happy Thursday!
