I think one of the reasons (among others) that I joined the Unitarian Universalist Church is simply that I can accept what seems reasonable and right, taking responsibility for the actions that follow from my choices made in consequence of those understandings, and can ignore the silly mythological or unclear historical tradition, if I choose (I do). Oh, by the way, can I write run-on sentences or what? Wouldn't you love to be able to time travel and see what really happened?
