I LOVE lilacs! Only the spindly mountain variety grow here, and not anywhere in the city. I miss them so much!

My tomatoes are just reaching the lowest rung of the tomato cages and the two Early Girls have flowers on them. Can fruit be far behind? Today is my little sister's birthday. She would have been 60 years old today, had she lived. She died of meningitis, just before a cure was found. Even after all these years, I miss her a lot and I love her. I guess that's when they mean when they say love doesn't grow old.
