Oh by the way, folks,
Today we celebrate the birthday of Johnny Cash, born in 1932. He sang lotsa songs, some of which I actually like.
Yesterday it got nice and warm with lotsa sunshine so I did a buncha outdoor stuff.
And I noticed one of my Facebook friends has a blog upon which he did an entry about gun control. He suggests exactly what I've always suspected, namely, that nothing works.
And the latest issue of Scientific American has an editorial about how we shouldn't oughta try to legislate anything about gun control until we do some scientifical stuff about how guns are acquired and how they're used in crimes.
So, since both sides are totally fulla hogwash, I'm not gonna take sides.
I don't own any guns. If I ever bought one I suppose it would be one of those dual-mode jobs we used to call a Varmint Piece, two barrels, a .22 rifle barrel and a 410 shotgun barrel, to deal with groundhogs and opossums, our most destructive pests. Unfortunately, our neighborhood is too close-knit residential for a gun to be used safely for any such purpose.
Anyhow, today it's gonna rain so I suppose I'll find indoor stuff to do.
Happy Indoor Stuff!
