Today we celebrate the birthday of Johann Strauss, born in 1804. He composed lotsa waltzes. Back in his day the waltz was considered a very scandalous dance because the partners actually had to touch each other while dancing.

The big news of the day is that it's PI day! 3.14! That means if you're gonna dine out this evening make sure you choose a place that serves your favorite kinda pie for dessert.

And the yawner of the day is that our most prominent extreme fringe cult has selected a new Pope. Just another repeat of the one who just retired. Pretends to be humble but carries on a fuming hatred of gay people. Ho hum. Nothing's gonna change.

Last night's church dinner was 9 people including one preacher. The presento afterwards included a re-enactment of the earliest known written Christian mystic incantation, written by Saint Hippolytus in early third century. Only a few slight differences from the one we still do every Sunday. So, while we accuse the Catholics of never changing anything, we never change anything either.

Today looks like it's gonna be a cool day with lotsa wind. Great day to wear your hoodie. A dark gray one if you're gonna commit a murder in a dark alley. Mine's bright red and has a picture of the Maryland State Turtle on it. I have no desire to commit any murders of my own. There's plenty of them to watch on TV.

Happy Thursday!
